Request from Sue:

we are currently running a "BlockStock" promotion.  You buy anything from my website between now and April 30th and you get a free printed pattern for a quilt block.  You are also entered into a grand prize drawing for one each of all my quilt patterns, MSRP over $150.

I would like the customer to know that they are entered into the drawing and that they will be receiving a free pattern.  Is there any way to add this "Free item" to their cart automatically to alert them to the promotion?

I have saved some pictures for Leaves Galore Gallery into ~/Projects/suepellanddesigns/assets/2016-02/Leaves Galore Gallery.

Pictures for the Customer gallery are at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fq5kz0ynh9t88ok/AACY2DkB64cOMGMnD1Fzil_1a?dl=0.

Pictures for the Hearts & More Gallery (from email attachments from Sue) are in ~/Projects/suepellanddesigns/assets/2016-03. There are still a few more emails in my Inbox with more.

It would be excellent to be able to multi-select from the Library tab of the Media browser. Also, bulk select from Upload tab or, at least, Import from a particular directory in the the /admin/content/files list and have those show up in the Library tab where they can be multi-selected.

All full-size images should get a watermark. Need to add the image style and change all the places that open a colorbox of the original image, or that use a large image (like the product pages) to use that style.

PayPal transactions from the old ecommerce website (which also used PayPal standard), allow you to create a shipping label from within PayPal. This is part of the current workflow for SPD staff when fulfilling orders. Orders created from the new website do not allow you to print the label (because there is no shipping address associated with them). Search Drupal Commerce PayPal module issue queues or other forums to see if anyone else has reported this and if there is a way to make it do so. Perhaps one of the other PayPal payment methods would work?

Right now the text assumes the old-style way of ordering for wholesale customers.

Instead, it should be re-written to describe

  • how to create wholesale account
  • how wholesale prices are automatically calculated in the shop and in the cart when you are logged in with your wholesale account
