Friday arrives and it’s SHOPPING DAY! Armed with my lists, my good intentions and my credit cards, I am off to the shops to find all the bins, baskets, and labels I need to make my sewing room livable again. Then off to the fun stuff, the fabric store where I stock up on my list of fabrics and notions. I try not to stray too far from the list. The eye candy on the shelves can stay on those shelves unless it is going to help me finish my PHDs, my Projects that are Half Done!

I have the worst “Deadline to Finish” ratio in the entire quilting world. I am still working on the Hearts and More book, and it has been at least 18 months in the making. While writing the book, I have neglected my blog so today, I’m going to walk you though MY creative writing process. Emphasis on “creative”, and not so much on “writing”!
Sue Pelland Designs would like to wish you a very happy and peaceful Thanksgiving. We hope you enjoy a day filled with Family and Friends before the rush of the Christmas Season begins. After Thanksgiving day, we will celebrate the season with a 15% discount on all products in our website shop through Cyber Monday, November 30th. Sue will be away for the holiday weekend, but will begin shipping out orders on Monday, so please allow a little extra time for delivery.
The best thing about being me is getting to go to work every day and meet other quilters. This upcoming month gives us so many opportunities to do just that!
Teaching for quilt guilds is one of the best parts of my job. I have belonged to only three guilds in my 35 years of quilting, but each of them feels just like a family reunion when I visit. When I teach at your guild, I immediately feel like you have adopted me as a honorary “sister”. I love it when I hear you all laughing and joking in the way Quilting Sisters do when they get together.
